Annual Spaghetti Dinner Thank You
                                                   
Thank you so much to everyone that supported the annual United Way of Schuyler County spaghetti dinner that was held at the Montour Moose Lodge on Monday, October 13.  We served an amazing 545 dinners including take-outs.  All monies will go towards this year’s campaign goal of $118,000.00 to help support twenty-seven health and human service agencies that serve Schuyler County residents. 
The board of directors and Moose Club personnel worked hand in hand to make sure the dinner was a success.  Thank you to board members Reverend Michael Hartney, Steve Gillette, Nancy Happel, Debbie Simpson, Mike Stamp, Deb Peskin, Mike Learn, Esther Heichel, Barb Adesso, Daryl Kelly, Glenda Gephart, Michelle Hyde, Peg Scott, Bill Yessman, Liz Waite, Bob Burnside, Gayle Sedlack, Kyle Chedzoy, Laurie Fox, Sarah Mathews, Mary Crainey, and dishwasher extraordinaire, Jim Frame.  The family of Kyle and Ann Tuttle, campaign co-chairs, worked the crowd with the 50/50 drawings.  We thank them and also thank Mary King for donating back a portion of her winnings.  Thank you to the RSVP volunteers for distributing posters throughout the county.  We thank the Odessa-Montour and Watkins Glen Interact Club students who did an outstanding job serving the meal.   Thanks also to Ruth Powers, Andrew Yessman, Norrie Cornelius and Kathy Gillette for volunteering their time and efforts.  Special thanks to Mike Donnelly and Sally Hill from the Moose Club.  The event could not take place without their expertise and assistance in fine tuning all the details. 
We appreciate most of all the community that turns out every year to attend this fund raiser.  Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated by the board of directors and the hundreds of people that benefit from the agencies that United Way serves.  Thank you and may God bless each and every one of you!
